   Since a horrible accident claimed the lives of her family, Ever can see auras, hear people's thoughts, and know a person's entire life story by touch. Going out of her way to avoid human contact and suppress her abilities has branded her as a freak at her new high school—but everything changes when she meets Damen.
   Damen Auguste is gorgeous, exotic and wealthy. He's the only one who can silence the noise and random energy in her head—wielding a magic so intense, it's as though he can see straight into her soul. As Ever is drawn deeper into his enticing world of secrets and mystery, she's left with more questions than answers. She has no idea just who he really is—or what he is. The only thing she knows to be true is she's falling deeply and helplessly in love with him.

My Review : I liked this book. I got it as a gift from my grandparents.
           I liked the fact that Ever wasn't quite happy with her paranormal powers.She calms down her powers by listening to music, method that I know is useful even if I just listen to music to concentrate.
           When she had a NDE-Near to death experience- She lost her family and her sister who she is now able to see as a ghost. Than she meets Damen Auguste, who seems to be able to stop the thoughts of the other people to come in her mind. She is atracted to him in a very strange way. He always gives her a red tulip. When Haven, her best friend starts going out with Drina, the Evil Ex wife of Damen, She start's having problems.
           Drina was the one who killed Ever in her past lifes one after another in a sadistic way.
          I liked the idea of magic and the fact that everything you can imagine can be real. The idea of taking power from the nicest memories in your life.
           The fact that all the things happening were leading more to some kind of vampire and after that it turns out that Damen was Immortal was a very interesting twist in the book.
          However, I think Drina was to easy to kill in this life, but considering the fact that there were a lot of other times when Ever was the one who was killed,it is not such a bad thing. In fact, the bad character has to die in the end.Also I thought It was a good thing she didn't choose Damen at the first time but she understod that she had made the wrong decision and let her sister go. 
Conclusion : I liked the book.However,it didn't really make me want to read the next books. But it made me a little curious.
